Mission

  1. To promote installing multiple projects across weaker section of society with help of like-minded NGOs and organizations to manufacture and promote use of sanitary napkins amongst underprivileged ladies in child bearing age groups
  2. To generate jobs for them under cottage industry model and at the same time, promote their earning through distribution network in future.

Why-
According to a report by market research group AC Nielsen, “Sanitary Protection: Every Woman’s Health Right”, 88% of women in India are driven to use ashes, newspapers, sand husks and dried leaves during their periods. As a result of these unhygienic practices, more than 70% of women suffer from reproductive tract infections, increasing the risk of contracting associated cancers. In underdeveloped countries, reusable or makeshift pads are still used to collect menstrual blood. Rags, soil, and mud are also reportedly used for collecting menstrual flow.
Objective-
We have started a sanitary napkin manufacturing project named Sanjivani Suraksha with Generous Donation from  Shri S.M.Nanavati Charitable Trust in Jan 2016.We have installed and grossly modified the equipments   and machines in Small scale Industry model, trained girls from weaker section of the society to manufacture quality sanitary napkins. We distribute for free to women from underprivileged society across illages under our service areas and in Schools with an intension to generate awareness as to safe use and health benefits of such pads. In first year so far we have distributed more than 1,20,000 pads.
