  • SHRC believes that for overall well being of any society, health and education are two main pillars.
  • Children of poor urban slum dwellers either drop out early from school or those who continue in school, have very poor performance.
  • Such children are malnourished with resultant poor I.Q. and are weak learners
  • Unless nutrition, overall health and quality education is planned for them, a bright future for these unfortunate, under-served children can't be expected!

Shiv Prathamik-Madhyamik Shala(Guj) and Sanjivani Vidyavihar(Eng)-From June 2014, SHRC have taken over one school, Shiv Prathamik Shala, in Vasna Area of Ahmedabad, where at present 1100+ children from really economically weaker section of society take benefit at most affordable rates from pre-primary to Std 10in Gujarati medium,and KG to Std 5 in English Medium.

  • At SHRC Education Initiative, there are no hidden fees or extra charges for events, festival celebrations or educational tours. All support education materials are provided at 50% of MRP,and exercise books are provided free of cost. Nutrition and healthcare are also well cared. A pair of school Uniform,festival T-Shirts, shoes and socks are provided free . All students are given free midday snack under donation from Corporates under their CSR initiative.
  • Special feature of this school is that poor children are given 100% freeship, only they have to pay term fees.
  • Students getting good marks in all written exams are given 100 % scholarship to Develop competitiveness amongst them.Almost 30 % of students avail either of above aid.
  • 95% students of the school hail from reserved category population.
